“LJ Shen just wrote her best love story ever!” – DD’s Boom Room
I have been flip flopping with this review for a few days now and I guess that’s a good thing, when an author can write a story that kind of has you second guessing your feelings towards a story. I did not hate Dean, I knew from Vicious book 1 he was going to be a little bit harder to love but I was excited, I mean vicious was a killer book and Dean was a huge anti – hero. Skip forward to Ruckus and honestly in the beginning I thought he was never going to redeem himself but we got a little deeper into the story and things became clear ish to me that he cared deeply for Rosie and Dean will always live up to the hot hole name, but there is definitely more to dean than his hot hole ways and we were able to get some of that in Ruckus, which made me fall for him I also did at times swoon or fan myself, there were some serious swoony & steamy moments throughout this books that I really loved. Rosie’s character I kind of knew what to expect from her, seeing her in Vicious we got a glimpse into hr life and she was a great lead female. I felt super frustrated with her and for her through parts of the book, and I really hoped she’d give her family a piece of her mind. , I didn’t mind Ruckus at all, I love L.J Shens writing and everyone loves an antihero. It was just a little harder for me to really love Dean, but Dean & Rosie together I did love. She made him a better person….4 stars
